Energy & Infrastructure
Our Energy Team has considerable experience of wind and solar energy as well as being closely involved in renewable hydrogen energy; we are focused on renewable energy and interested in all new sustainable energy development.
We are collaborating with both the Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT) in West Wales and the Welsh School of Architecture at Cardiff University who have designed and built the first UK energy positive SOLCER house at Bridgend.
We are liasing with Tech Farm in Sweden who are creating the first custom-built co-living & co-working house for people in different phases of life but with a shared interest in entrepreneurship, sustainability and co-creation.
Their flagship house combines the latest technology in microbiology and mechanical engineering to recycle waste water, mitigating unwanted substances and extracting nutrition’s. This enables the house to completely cover it’s need for irrigation for gardens and greenhouses without burdening the communal waste water facilities.
The house is energy positive, i.e generating more energy than it consumes, through a combination of energy-effective construction with integrated solar-panel modules and innovative battery and chemical solutions to store heat for the winter months.
